Dr. Marilyn Chun was born and raised on the island of Oahu. After she graduated from Aiea High School, she attended the University of Hawaii-Manoa where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology/Cell Molecular Biology.
Dr. Chun earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2004. She has served the patients of Pearl Family Dental Care for over 19 years. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Hawaii Dental Association, and Honolulu County Dental Society.
She spends her free time with her husband and son. They enjoy exploring new places to eat, trying the newest Boba tea drinks, and aren’t afraid to research and try new recipes to cook at home.
Dr. Tzu-Min Chien grew up in a quiet town by the ocean in New Taipei, Taiwan before she obtained her Bachelors in Science from University of California, Berkeley. She received her Doctoral degree in Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Arizona. Dr. Chien then moved to Oklahoma and spent six years working in communities serving underprivileged children.
Dr. Chien is friendly and gentle. She strives to deliver the best care for each patient in a comfortable environment. She is trained in advanced life support, pediatric advanced life support, nitrous oxide anxiolysis, and moderate conscious sedation.
Dr. Chien and her husband enjoy hiking with their little doggy Theon and going snorkeling. They love the community on Oahu and are very honored to be a part of it. They look forward to raising a family here.
